Why would an Atlanta recruiting firm offer flat fee pricing?

Why flat fee pricing?

We offer one price for any position because we are committed to finding you the best match for the job opening, no matter how prominent the role. Whether back office or customer facing, every position on your team is important. So why should you pay different prices, as if we will not work as hard to place some candidates as others?

We believe in our system and recognize your loyalty to our company is on the line with each candidate we recommend. Therefore, every recruiting request will receive the same amount of attention and we will not rest until we have contributed the best possible candidate to your team.

Other job recruiting firms will charge you outrageous prices to help you recruit an executive but much less for a copy editor. Obviously the executive job is more integral to your company than the role of a copy editor, but we desire to supply you with the best available in each position.

This separates us from other job recruiters in Atlanta and lets you know what to expect and how to budget for upcoming job recruiting requests.

This is just one more way we are making hiring simple. Trust us and trust our system. You’ll be glad you did.

Beyond trusting us, you can trust the talented refugee workforce we serve. Staffing Atlanta and the metro area with deeply motivated and highly educated refugees is our passion. We desire to provide Atlanta recruiting services with great and growing Atlanta companies and believe our flat fee pricing is just one reason we are the premier staffing Atlanta option for your business.

Allow us to provide you with great talent to help you go further, faster so you can continue to do what you do best. Your company is our first priority.

Employee Fulfillment

How would your employees answer this question:

What are the benefits of working for this company?

Some may answer it’s a résumé builder, its good experience, another rung along their corporate ladder ascent. A great health benefit package or a strong brand presence will captivate others. The unique competitive advantage your company possesses, the opportunity to work with a talented team, and of course, great pay could all be perceived benefits of working for a company. How would your employees answer the question?

How would you like them to answer? Do the answers align?

Would it be hokey to desire the greatest benefit your employees gain from your company is fulfillment? Many people are walking this Earth, as unfulfilled zombies, and I’m not blaming the workplace for this travesty. However, I do believe each of us were created with specific talent to offer the world and are fulfilled when we use those abilities. It happens to be our work is the best outlet to use those talents.
Is it a stretch to believe you could provide intentional opportunities to ensure each employee is engaged in work that challenges and motivates them?

The intangible benefit of fulfillment has ranked over money in numerous surveys as the one thing people would improve about their working situation. Moreover, a tidal wave of millennials are crashing into the workforce with a strong desire to “Love what they do and do what they love!”

This was declared boldly in a graduation speech made at the University of Georgia’s commencement services last semester. Katie Miller, a double-major in international affairs and public relations, stood before her peers and proclaimed the voice of her generation in saying, “We were not made to sit safely in the harbor. Instead, we were created to sail the open seas in the direction of our fulfillment.”
So how does your workplace measure up?

How are you meeting the demand of an unengaged workforce?

Answering these question make you a stronger partner for hiring refugees through Atlanta recruiting and staffing Atlanta.

The Honeymooners

I didn’t want to do it…but I knew it was the right thing to do.

We were walking through our apartment complex parking lot after retrieving the mail. We noticed a car, covered in “just married” paint and signage. Though there were no bride and groom to be found, the headlights were left on. A simple mistake like leaving the lights on was understandable, given the mysterious happy couple had a marriage to christen! Would you want to wake up the day after your wedding to a dead car battery? Of course not! Would you want a neighbor to interrupt whatever activity you may or may not be engaged in on the night after your wedding to make you aware of your mistake?

Of course you would….I think.

I had seen the same car, without graffiti, the day prior. A few people were unloading some small furniture pieces from the car into the apartment across from ours.

I had no excuse, because I knew where they lived. This is what neighbors are for, right?

I knocked on the door. No answer. My awkward-meter topped out as I knocked again, a little harder this time. Silence. At least I tried, right? I heard some clamor inside as I was stepping away. I froze just as the door was opened slightly. A two inch opening in the door frame revealed a nearly naked, confident young man with a furrowed brow. I apologized profusely and explained the situation. He said nothing, shut the door, and flipped the deadbolt. Not only did he seem ungrateful, he did not even seem concerned. One-track mind, I presume.

Are you willing to have hard conversations? If you are willing to face the awkwardness, fear, and guilt of confrontation head on, your business will be better for it. This type of candor and honesty might cause friction in the moment, but will result in respect in the long-run.

Choose your words very carefully so as not to place the an individual on the defense. Disarm their fears and do not allow them to feel attacked or singled-out. Assure them of your genuine concern for their future well-being. No matter what, do not soften the blow out of pity. Say what needs to be said with as much tact as humanly possible. In the end, they may seem ungrateful and unconcerned, but remember you cannot control their actions. Simply be a good steward of your responsibility to be a faithful leader. In most occasions, you must be determined to steward the business over any one individual in your organization. Even when the door is shut in your face, still look for ways to serve the individual in question.

I found myself standing alone on my neighbor’s barely used welcome mat. I walked back out to their car and tried the door handle. In line with my one-track mind theory, the door was left unlocked. I reached in and turned off the lights. I did not, however, feel the need to clean off their car!

We’ll help you recruit great business people for your growing company, but we hope you’ll continue to invest in them as they grow as well. We do staffing Atlanta better than anyone else and are excited to serve you!

Results Oriented Leadership

Are you all about the numbers?

Do you monitor performance goals and drive toward the bottom line?

If so, thank you for using your God-given ability to keep the capitalism train chugging down the track. Thank you for your number-crunching, spreadsheet-reading stewardship.

You lead by driving people toward a desired goal and will not be satisfied until the goal is met. You often find yourself working harder than others to reach the goal and cannot understand why others are not charging with you toward the finish line.

It’s as if some people around you are not motivated by the same goal you are!

Therein lies the problem my friend!

In most cases, no one is motivated by the same goals you are! Can you imagine what your office would be like if everyone came in on time and faithfully brought their skills to the table on each and every project because they were motivated by the same goal!!! Wow! Talk about efficiency!

Moreover, you show me an office where shared goals are communicated clearly and I’ll show you a happier, more fulfilled workforce! If you think a more motivated, efficient, and fulfilled staff is a fantasy, then humor me over the next few posts as I aim to give you some applicable strategies for developing this kind of office culture.

For this post, however, let’s go after the low-hanging fruit: SHARED goals.

Who is setting the bar? Who makes the decisions on what goals the team is aiming for? If the team does not own this process or at least have serious involvement in the decisions, your goals may be useless.

If you have some fellow results oriented peers, they’ll most likely set a realistic goal and then raise the bar each quarter. Allow them to be involved and listen to their reasoning. The most important point to remember is that your people want to be heard. You’ll need buy-in from the team if you hope for consistent quarterly profit parties.

In the next post we’ll consider the process of creating a system for shared goals and move one step closer to a more motivated, efficient, and fulfilled workforce!

Interact with this post. What thoughts would you add or takeaway? How would your office function with more opportunities for team members to contribute to the goal-setting process?

Having Shared Goals will also help an Atlanta recruiting company know what you are looking for and how they can be most successful on the team.

How 90% of businesses fail at social media

Social media has changed the rules of marketing.

Advertising has historically been a one-way street of communication. Radio ads, newspaper and magazine content, as well as billboard space are all traditional examples of the one-sided conversation pervading the business to consumer marketplace.

However, social media has changed the rules of marketing and created an incredible opportunity for businesses to listen, learn, and leverage their existing customer base.

Unfortunately, 90% of businesses are not taking advantage of this opportunity and continue to see social media as another one-way advertising medium. Businesses are investing millions of dollars into creating online brands, yet they are ignoring their customer’s praise and feedback on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The rules have changed and so should your strategies. Engaging with your customer base humanizes your brand and makes it genuine. It communicates more community and less conglomerate. It assures your customers that you care and appreciate their support. Best of all, it encourages further viral promotion of your brand within your target markets.

But what does social media have to do with staffing Atlanta or Atlanta recruiting? We believe it matters a lot because it ties into the story you are telling to the world. Are you a great place to work? Do you treat your employees well? Is your company a great place to work? If so, then share these facts openly. Tell the world how you go about serving your staff. With this policy in place, it will require you improve the way you treat your team or it will raise the bar on the way others in your industry treat their employees.

One amazing story we’d love to help you tell, is the process of staffing Atlanta refugees. Open your company to the talented refugee workforce and you will not regret it. Your team morale will improve and your employee turnover will decrease drastically.

Monkey Business

I had enjoyed sleeping over at my friend, Wayne’s home, the night before that fateful day.

Wayne and I had gotten up that morning and had leftover, cold pizza for breakfast. We decided to head outside to play catch, but as we made our way outside, Wayne did something that would have a major impact in my life.

He hit the garage door button, and proceeded to run toward the garage door as it began to raise off of the ground. I watched in amazement as he grabbed onto the garage door and hung on it while it moved into the open position!

This was one of the coolest things I had ever seen. Like finding cash in an old jacket pocket, I had just discovered an amusement park ride in my very home. The best part was that it was free and there would never be a line to wait in!

When I got to my house later that day, I was ready to try out my very own garage door ride. Mom and Dad were not home when I hit the button and sprinted for the garage door. I leaped in the air and outstretched my arms, caught the door, and immediately regretted my decision.

Apparently my family opted for the cheaper version of the garage door models than Wayne’s family had, because one side of the garage door jumped completely off the track and came crashing down to the ground, while the other side stalled half way up. Screws went flying around the room, some we’ve still yet to find.

I could never get away with anything when I was a kid, but I gave it my best effort to pull and push the garage door back in place to hide my disastrous mistake. About that time, my dad drove up the driveway from work and pressed the garage door opener in his car as he was accustom to doing. This caused the garage door to begin convulsing and I was certain it had come to life and was preparing to pulverize me for placing it in such a perilous position. My Dad had seen my little legs scurrying around in the garage thanks to the side of the door that was stuck halfway up and came to my rescue, not yet realizing I had caused the problem to begin with.

I faced many consequences for that stunt but have learned a great deal about business from looking back on the events of that day.
Chief among the business lessons from that situation are thoughts on expectations.

Just because it worked for one person does not mean you can follow the same prescriptive steps to success. Wayne had ridden his garage door with glee, but my monkey impression brought on much the opposite.

Secondly, do not try to leap into business alone. The path of entrepreneurship can be heralded as the lone ranger with a crazy idea, but even those success stories usually had a star in the supporting role. A partner or a team in your business will ensure you don’t go jumping off a cliff or hanging on a garage door. They’ll also be there to rescue you whenever you find yourself running in circles, dodging flying screws, and screaming like a banshee.

We’ll help you find a partner to storm the hill with. Our unique approach to Atlanta recruiting will ensure we discover the perfect match to take your business to the next level.

Leading People Who Don’t Want to Be Led?

This is a conundrum. How do we lead people that have no desire to follow us?

You may have falsely assumed, as I did, the title of leader created some kind of magnanimous force-field around us that compelled others to enthusiastically jump in line behind us.

Maybe you just took a management position at a new firm and are surrounded by disgruntled human beings? Maybe you are just on a team in which everyone wants to lead and no one wants to follow. Whatever the case, we have or will be in situations in which we are trying to lead, but seemingly spinning our tires, getting no traction, because some people do not want to be led.

Of course we need to remember, most people have never been led well.

They have, however, been manipulated, rejected, confused, disrespected, and let down by figureheads in their lives that called themselves leaders. Leading others is a difficult, messy, and fuzzy job. If leadership is thrust upon you, do not accept it without first realizing that it is the most challenging task you will ever undertake and at many points you will be attempting to lead people that do no want to be led.

So how should we proceed? If no one is listening, no one is showing us any sign of respect, and they even look elsewhere to be led all the while ignoring us, HOW SHOULD WE LEAD?

Here is the profoundly simple answer you were not hoping for: We must follow.

We have made leadership the antidote to the virus of greed, power, and pride. Truth be told, many narcissists are hiding in leader’s clothing.

Take a deep breath, close your eyes, hold your nose, throw your head back, and swallow your pride pill. It will be good for you, because when you reopen your eyes, you may just see many opportunities around you to follow.

Some people do not want to follow you, because they do not trust or respect you. Nor have they grown to trust and respect the team to which you collectively belong. This may or may not be your fault, but the only way around the wall they have built up, is to serve them by following.

The greatest part of this process is that though they can keep from following you, they cannot keep you from following them!

The key to followership is simple: “Look and listen for opportunities to serve one another, thereby proving your allegiance and respect for your fellow human being.”

In other words, listen to their goals and then help them achieve their goals, with no expectation they will return the favor. Yes it will be an awkward and lengthy process, but will gradually lead to them removing their wall, block by block.

I know this sounds a little hokey, but if you are still reading this, you may just be desperate enough to try something different! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. So swallow a few more pride pills and see where following leads you.

We’re excited to provide staffing Atlanta with companies that have great leaders who know how to follow. Connect with us today!

Stewardship

This foundational element in business, though rarely referenced in our culture anymore, has the potential to have the most pervasive impact on the world if we act on it.

Practicing stewardship requires we make the most of every resource we have been entrusted with. It is an effort that flies in the face of laziness, ignorance, apathy, and wastefulness. Stewardship forces us to care, to be responsible, to take initiative, and to be pro-active.

It surprisingly is about maximizing your profit margin and the return on your investment, but if that was all there was to stewardship, there would be no reason to encourage its use. From creating more efficient processes which in turn generate more profit, stewardship thrives on something other than greed.

Stewardship is intrinsically connected to generosity, so that practicing stewardship results in sharing the excess with those that need it most.

May we be people who manage our businesses with a passion for stewardship, amass great wealth, and then leverage that wealth to make a positive impact on the world.

Unfortunately, the current process for most refugee recruiting could be considered anything but good stewardship. A business willing to employ a refugee without paying for the referral has the potential for treating the refugee like a commodity. When any employee is treated like a commodity instead of an individual created in the image of God with an affinity for work, it will always effect the way that employee is treated; if not by the owner, by the staff. Some companies treat the constant flow of refugees like a never-ending supply of cheap labor. If one employee is not cutting it, throw them out for the next one in line. I guarantee that accompany paying for the talent they acquire will put safeguards in place to ensure they invest in onaboarding, training, and overall excellence for that employee.

Let us help you with job recruiting so this can become a reality!

Integrity

When money or your reputation is on the line, it can be very difficult to be a person of integrity.

You could cut a few corners and still be on budget. You could fudge the numbers to get that promotion.

However, if you have developed your character as much as your business acumen, you can be committed to leading with integrity, no matter the consequences.

Hidden within the word “integrity” are four letters: G-R-I-T. This is the key to integrity.

Be determined, before you are placed in an uncompromising position, that you will stand firm and do what you know is right.

In our best of intentions to snatch the coat tails of the elusive American Dream, we can’t allow our integrity to fall by the wayside.

You always have a choice to be filled with integrity. You just have to fight for it.

Integrity is all about consistency. You need to know what you are going to get every day. If your team does not know what to expect from you everyday, you are not a leader.

The problem many charismatic leaders face is they allow their ability out run their integrity. You can not allow this to happen because character is the one thing you can always improve upon. It’s the one area you can always grow in.

I’ve witnessed some amazing character in many of the refugees we serve. Many have exhibited remarkable integrity in the face of great tragedy. In one recent example, I was in the process of helping a refugee from Afghanistan secure work with an excellent company. Though he was in desperate need of work, he had made a pact with his roommate, also from Afghanistan, he would not accept a job with a company unless his roommate was hired as well. The company only had one job available at the time, therefore Ahmad turned down his opportunity out of commitment to his roommate. This is the kind of integrity paramount in all we set our heads and hands to.

We desire to do Atlanta recruiting with companies known for great integrity. Staffing Atlanta occurs best when integrity exists all the way around.

Humbition

Humbition has been defined as you might expect: the blend of humility and ambition that drives successful people.

It is a rarely observed character trait, simply because the two pervasive cultures in the United States, either teach the impact of one or the other, but usually not the potential influence of the combination.

The marketplace is greatly concerned with ambition. If you work hard enough, you can achieve anything. Pounce on every opportunity and take advantage of whomever and whatever is necessary to get to the top. Exploitation and manipulation are disgusting tactics of unbridled ambition. With this mindset, patience is not a virtue and “no” is never taken as an appropriate answer. After all, the American Dream cannot be obtained without engaging the virtue of ambition.

However, what were to happen if these two traits were infused?

A humble person with an ambitious attitude of constant improvement and an open mind to collaboration with others would be unique to say the least. Moreover, what if this type of person injected this type of leadership into their business? An organization with a culture of humbition would be nothing short of successful.

The building block of humbition must be woven into the culture of your business. It is a balancing act of both admitting and learning from your mistakes as well as making confident, aggressive decisions.

We desire to do Atlanta recruiting with humbitious companies. Businesses that are growing and in need of highly talented and capable staff to sustain the growth are the best partners to hire and onboard members of the talented refugee workforce. Staffing Atlanta can be complicated, especially when high turnover exists in your industry, but the highly educated and motivated refugees we serve are ready to work and commit to one fulfilling job. They are ready to be loyal members of your team. Contact us today!
