Staffing Atlanta and the metro area with the talented refugee workforce is our passion. We serve refugees who have resettled in Atlanta from their home country due to “a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, is outside the country of their nationality, and is unable to or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail him/herself of the protection of that country.” – 1951 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees
The United States receives many of the most well-educated people coming through the refugee process. On average , 40,000 refugees are resettled in the US annually. Approximately 4,000 of them find refuge in Atlanta. This adds to Atlanta’s growing diversity but also gives us the burden of finding employment for the refugees willing and able to work to provide for their families.
Specifically, refugees are resettled into a community just Northeast of downtown Atlanta in Clarkston, Georgia. TIME Magazine called Clarkston “the most diverse square mile in the country.” Over 145 countries and 761 ethnic groups call Clarkston home speaking over 60 languages. Diversity is off the charts, but jobs are scarce contributing to a per capita income of $17k.
We’re grateful to represent the talented refugee workforce within the Atlanta recruiting landscape.
